The Oso team started meeting at the chapel in 2016.   In that first year we were able to make 75 kits!  That means 75 girls will be able to attend school all year long!  In other countries the girls are made to sit in isolation until their periods are over.  In other places they cannot afford to buy supplies.  If asked “Would you like money for food or sanitary supplies?” Every time they choose food.

Help us supply their sanitary hygiene needs.

We meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 10:00 to 2:00 and would love to have you join us.  There are MANY jobs that do not require any sewing!  Bring a sack lunch on the 3rd Thursday of the month and join us for a fun time while we help empower girls around the world.

OUR MONTHLY NEEDS:

  • 100% cotton flannel and quilter’s cotton (no animal or novelty prints)

Flannel should be able to hide stains (little or no white in the print)

  • Thin washcloths (Walmart has a bundle for just $4)

  • Panties (Girl’s 10/12/14/16….brief’s or hipsters only)
